Anyway, here is a long joke about chlorine trifluoride as an oxidizer for rocket engines. Please someone read it.

That story is insane, especially the part about the murderous "improved" space shuttle idea.

I also saw that Derek, the author of that blog, posted a clip of some french guys pouring Chlorine Trifluoride over stuff you'd normally consider protective equipment:

There is also an interesting entry on a compund that will explode when you try to take an infrared spectrum of it. It's some hellish molecule where you have replaced almost all the carbon atoms with nitrogen... C2N14.

Just spoke to a friend who is a chemist to see if he knew about it...apparently some chemicals are not as difficult as you think to get hold of

I read all of architeuthis's story.

Its interesting and i would hate to pass it off as complete conspirecy babble. But the idea of trying to get soviets to kill themselves is quite funny (horrific but they way its worded is quite funny)

It is my greatest disappointment that Youtube has zero high-quality videos of this stuff wreaking havoc. Understandable, sure, but it's disappointing nonetheless.
