Kerbal Space Program Issue/Bug - Need someone to look through the output log

Recommended Posts

Never posted on this forum so please bear with me.  About a week ago I changed the location of my Kerbal program through the steam client.  CKAN wasn't recognizing the game so I moved the game back to its original location.   Upon booting up the game for the first time since the location transfer, which I reverted, I was faced with this problem: https://youtu.be/J3YDNYfr3Go.  Unsuccessfully, I deleted my mods and game using the steps outlined on https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN/wiki/Clean-and-reinstall-process and tried booting again.  Even without mods, the problem persisted.  I don't know what else to try so here I am asking you guys.

For reference, I have an overclocked GTX 1070ti, Overclocked Ryzen 5 1600, and 16gb of 3000 Mhz ram.

I believe that this is the game output log, but I am unsure: https://gofile.io/?c=bicEz0.  Let me know if I am missing anything.  Any help is appreciated!  Again, I have tried doing a fresh install of the game and tried deleting my mods to no avail.

Hi and welcome to the forum @AndrewRadz, it's always nice to see new folks around here in our community :)

Now, about your problem, it looks like your KSP installation is kind of botched...

My suggestions then:

Copy your whole KSP folder to another location (backup).

Delete your Steam KSP installation.

Important: after that, go to your Steam folder (usually Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common) and delete that folder "Kerbal Space Program".

Make a fresh install via Steam. Start it once, then quit.

Copy that folder to another location, e.g. "C:\KSP"

Get CKAN

Tell CKAN about that installation (File - Manage KSP instances)

Get your mods, copy your save games to the new KSP installation.

I’ve tried deleting everything and reinstalling, out of good measure I tried again once more per your suggestion.  The problem continues to persist, even with no mods installed.  Every time I attempt to verify the game’s files, Steam tells me that two files failed to be verified and will be reacquired, although it seems that Steam is failing to download the missing files.  Any suggestions?
