A sudden realization about Kerbin

I saw this video on youtube

and realized that Kerbin has no seasons!

In the video that all the satalites placed in equatorial geosynchronous orbit (I'm assuming that's what the big ring is) are inclined to match Earth's axial tilt. Kerbin has no axial tilt, which combined with our equatorial launch site makes orbital navigation quite a bit simpler. Perhaps future versions of the game will include a "hard" mode where Kerbin is tilted on its axis and/or the launch site is not equatorial.

Kerbin doesn't even have orbital seasons, as its orbit is perfectly symetric. Interesting.

Perhaps the lack of a tilt comes about from minimus... Kerbin had a tilt at one point, but a predecessor of the Kerman race lit a giant explosion while attempting to launch their first rocket which caused a large hunk of rock and space cheese (now known as minimus) to be ejected from kerbin, removing kerbins tilt.

It sort of makes sense.

I'd say kerbin didn't have a tilt from the beginning.

The explosion was so giant it flipped the planet entirely, and somehow managed to become perfectly upside-down. That is the proper theory. The Mun.

I thought Kerbin had a Launch Season and a Fund Raising Season!

Perhaps future versions of the game will include a "hard" mode where Kerbin is tilted on its axis and/or the launch site is not equatorial.

I was thinking that in campaign mode, KSC2 would be unlocked at some point.
