It could be a while, DLCs are like 6 months behind PC, and updates are 0.5ish behind PC, so like 4-5 months lag between.

Actually I just looked, and it has been 9 months since 1.8.1, and console has yet to get it. But DLCs are like 6-8 months lag from the PC version. It is dumb, but an outside developer ports the info for consoles, and they're slower than snail mail. I got my snail mail last week.
