Can't switch vessel due to the keys

So, I can't switch vessels if I press [ and ], does it has something to do with the fact that I press AltGr + ( to do [ ? 

The fact is that I can only type it in this way. Any clues why this happens?

No modifier keys required (like SHIFT, ALT), but what keyboard layout are you using? Can you also check the assigned keys from the settings menu?

Ok, I will do so.

I have Italian 142 keyboard.

I will tell you the rest in some time, I currently don't have here my pc.

I have a Swiss German keyboard here right now (which is similar to the German QWERTZ I use most of the time, but differs a bit here and there). Couldn't the heck get the "reset camera focus" to work, it should be the key left of "1" which is "§" on this keyboard. Went to the keyboard settings menu and pressed that key, but instead of "§" I got a "#". OK... set the keybinding to "#" then. 

Gets even weirder: I checked the key bindings in the settings.cfg, and there it reads "CAMERA_RESET primary = Slash"... 

And on my German keyboard the key assignments are again totally different, for the key left of "1"  

Long story short, I'd just go to the keyboard setting menu, select QWERTY type (afaik Italian keyboard layout uses  that), and deliberately remove and reassign the respective key bindings to what you want.

Figured it out.

While the Kostok 1 capsule was reentering the Kv-1 with Jeb aboard detached, but I had the control set to the service module, so I pressed random keys and discovered that to switch vessels I had to press ' and ì. Another happy landing I guess!
