JNSQ Direct Antennas not working for rovers on Duna

Why can't my direct antennas relay with my Rovers on Duna? I've got a strong enough comms network using a variety of comm satellites HELL, in this picture, I've put a relay antenna and offset an antenna inside the rover's chassis just 100M from a relay satellite using hyper edit (not visible in this shot, but trust me it's there) and STILL, I get no connection. What's going on?

Before anyone can help you, it would be greatly beneficial if you could include your version of KSP and what mods you have installed. By the looks of it, Near Future Exploration is one of them?

Do all of your relays use a relay antenna and are they in line of sight of each other and a ground station on Kerbin? You might just be out of range, JNSQ’s larger scale means you need more comms power to phone home but there’s a patch to boost antenna range by 4x inside JNSQ itself- this might be getting interfered with if Near Future Exploration is installed due to the novel antenna features it includes.
