[Stock 0.17] Tataros II Interplanetary circumfly observation laboratory

I proudly present the first interplanetary single-crewed planet obeservatory. Due to its unique glass cockpit, the Kerbonaut never will miss interesting features on the planets surface. It is guaranteed* that this craft will bring your Kerbonaut to the inner planets of our solar system and maybe even to Jool.

Keep in mind that this vehicle is not build to land on any celestial bodies than Kerbin (though our PM Agent thought it would look cool if we would show you a picture of how you are not intended to use our product)

The ship has enough power though to upgrade it into a lander. The only reason I did not return to Kerbin and went for a landing was that I screwed up my orbtial maneuvers to get to Duna in the first place.

*WARNING: this guarantee only holds if you are a skilled pilot

Tell me what you think about this beast in the comments and feel free to modiefy the craft and make it into a lander or something. Just make sure to post your results in this thread

It's a nice ship and is great and all, but I'm not sure about it just leaving the pod stranded on other planets... Looks awesome though!

Yeah I hate leaving Kerbonauts at the surface too. Thats why it is an circumfly ship

Why not upgrade it then? Make the upper stage more of a lander? I think that would improve it by a lot. Also, love the name. xD

I guess that I want to build landers right so my Kerbonauts can return to their home and that I'm a little bit scared that if I make it a lander I screw things up and they never get home again. Feel free to modify the design by yourself. Maybe I'll redesign the craft today.

Love the idea, and your concept. That cockpit sure was well chosen for the IVA hehe.

This may sound impossible, but I wonder if there's a possibility to land on more than 1 planet or moon by modifying this, I don't know how good that would do though in fuel-mass ratio.

I'm definitely downloading Tataros II because it's pretty damn awesome, and I'll see if I can do some additions and share them here if they're any good.
