Hey, you have a donation page? This has legitimately brought me back to when sci-fi shipyards was still a thing has brought back so many great memories. Amazing mod and I would love to support you for creating this amazing mod.

Is it possible to add a new UI control - a 'throttle' with zero being in the centre of the axis, such that dragging (with the mouse or a physical joystick etc) the grabbable 'puck' up, increases the hover of the impulse engine and pulling it below centre decreases the hover so that you can lower it gradually to the ground etc.

It should be technically possible with the plugin as it is right now, but I don't think it would work as we would expect.  I want to go through that part of the code and really improve the behavior so that it actually will hover at the hover altitude, because right now it oscillates around the hover altitude instead of actually hovering there.  Once I make this improvement I will expose the hover altitude variable in the PAW so that that kind of control would be possible in the future.

Absolutely yes.  I should have done that to start with to be honest.  I can update the parts to add the inventory space to the shuttles, as well as probably some for the ships so that you can move equipment between the ship and docked shuttles.  I do also plan on adding transporter functionality, which would require inventory space to be able to beam cargo to different locations.  But, I can add the inventory space well before that, because I'm not sure when I'll be able to get around to working out the transporters.

* Updated TrekDrive.dll
    * Fixes a crash when taking a Kerbal on EVA on a landed craft with active impulse engines.  You can now EVA your Kerbals from landed NX Shuttlepods or Type F shuttlecraft without having to shutdown the impulse engines first.  Thanks to @TEMPEST_114 for catching this crash and bringing it to my attention.

* Added Inventory space to the NX Shuttlepod fuselage, the Type F main hull, NX-class saucer, Constitution and Constitution Refit saucers and engineering sections.
