Physical Struts don't connect on reload using EVA Construction on other crafts. Heres why.

Bug #27381: Physical Struts are only loyal to the parts of the craft that it was originally attached to on reloading a scene. They disconnect in all other cases. (EVA Construction) - Kerbal Space Program - Squad Bugtracker

Somehow the strut identifies with the craft's parts it was originally on.

The strut can identify with the new craft if its put into a container first...BUT only with the parts the craft originally had.
