[Tip] how to....make rocket assisted take-off and landing

Recommended Posts

Hi.

In case you don't know the rocket assisted take-off is a take-off where small rocket is used to take-off with a shorter runway, usefull when you have a very large plane!

The rocket assisted landing is... something that I don't know if it exist but,if not,I have just invented it!

it is like the rocket assisted take-off,but for landing,it is usefull when you have a very large plane that can't land on the ksc runway.

So now,how to make the take-off:use the sepatron and put it on you're plane with an angle(you chose it,you can also put them horizontaly) and launch them while taking-off.

For the landing it is simpler:put some sepatron(warnig:putting too much could make you plane going backward)pointing to the back of you're plane(the trust of the sepatron will slow down the plane).

thank you for reading, hope you will have fun!

Thanks for the tips! I love the new seperatron motors, I've been working on an ejection system for my spaceplanes that uses them to jet away the capsule so it can parachute to safety.

The way I used to do rocket assisted takeoffs before was to have a stage that you can drop after takeoff, I found the aerospike engine paired with a small regular fuel tank (FL-T200) ran out just after takeoff and provided a massive amount of extra thrust for large planes.
