Progress-Saving Problem

Hey guys,
Can anyone explain to me why my progress is not saving.... so if I was just in orbit and then go in the menu on Kerbin again is the rocket in orbit just gone.

The persistent save only seems to save reliably on scene changes or major events (like destroying vessel/killing Kerbal). To be sure of saving at a specific point, hit F5 to Quicksave (you can restore the last quicksave by holding down F9 I think it is or any save by loading from the menu).

But it should autosave when you quit to menu.

Not sure, it should do yes but this is KSP of course so...
