[suggestion] Different names for rockets and missions

I'm asking this because I don't want to have 15 copies of a (for example) a Duna rover just to name them Duna Rover I, II, III, etc when I want to have multiple landing sites.

Just like the Saturn V rocket sent the Apollo missions. What do you guys think?

Hi henryrasia, what you can do is this:

Have one rocket called Duna Rover, then when you want to launch it, add a 1 after the name but don't save the craft, you will find you have a Duna Rover 1 on the launchpad and in the VAB, but if you reload the rocket it'll be Duna Rover again.

You can have any number of identical craft with just name changes this way, just don't save the new name.

Does this work when changing completely the name? Like Saturn V -> Apollo 11
