How to make KSP more fun?!

I'm a new user so be gentle.

I can build rockets, orbit the "earth", orbit the "moon", and even land on the moon and get back to earth (with the help of a autopilot plugin) ....sorry, as i type this I forgot the names, I know it isn't "earth" and "moon"

Anyways, my question is what are some of the ways you guys make this game fun? ....I'm looking for suggestions.

Mods. Oodles and oodles of mods.

Aside from that, it helps to have a healthy imagination, as at this stage of the game there's no mission structure. Give yourself some targets or goals that interest you. I recently decided I wanted a constellation of eight satellites in GEO for communications, so I went ahead and did it (got them at almost exactly on the longitudes I wanted too). Now that I know how to do that, I'm just waiting for the RemoteTech mod to be updated to 0.17 so that I can happily set-up my interplanetary comms network. >.>

Why not go off and collect some ice samples from Minmus? Drop a rover on Duna. Smash a rocket into Mun as quick as you possibly can. Whatever interests you.

design more efficient rockets. land on minmus and return. land on another planet. build some spaceplanes. achieve orbit on minmus using only the kerbal EVA RCS backpack. land on the moon of another planet. I really don't know what your talking about, landing on the Mun is one of the first couple of things you achieve in the game, and your acting like you've beaten KSP or something

Learn about gravity turns, Goddard Problem, Oberth Effect, Hohmann Transfer, bielliptic transfer, optimal descent, etc. and use those ideas to make your flights more awesome.

Did you know there are easter eggs scattered around? You might have noticed one or two of them from Munar orbit, but several are only visible if you get right up close. There's a mod part to help track them down.

Or, make a really noodly airplane and flap around until it displodes.

I saw Minmus from Kerbin, it was what looked like a very distinct, clear star among the others during dawn.

You can try to spot Minmus from Kerbin if that interests you

Make a Munbase, orbital rendezvous, fly to Minmus, go to other planets. It is especially fun to find some obscure interesting crater or canyon on the mun and landing near it.

I did notice something on Mun a few days ago ..... some sort of arch. I didn't see it until after I took off to go back to kerbin. Must of been one of the easter eggs.

Just now getting into the mods and plugins. Should be fun!
