Hi there. Theres a video on youtube showing a really cool submarine, and the description says : "In video used 100% STOCK PARTS, but heavy ore tank increased x50 mass."   but i didint find heavy ore tank, and there are other milion missing parts, could somebody help me?

I suspect its a modded version of a stock part. Thus his claim that its 100% stock parts is probably not quite true.

You can make things sink using 100% stock parts, but your craft ends up being mostly ore tanks.

How do you know its not a mod? If you got it working, then what is the question?

There are various classes of "mods", and a simple way is just to edit the craft file with a text editor so various parts store more resources.

Watching just a little bit of that video already made it clear that things are deceiptively shown for looks, and don't really reflect actual function... like the shake effects when the ducted fans spin up - ducted fans don't even work under water (although they should), and he was probably using jet engines (which do work under water, even though they shouldn't... that's KSP for you) hidden somewhere else for the actual water propulsion

YES I GOT IT WORKING.

steps:

install ksp 1.8.1

modify the folder inside C:\Program Files\KSP\GameData\Squad\Parts\Resources\LargeTank, modifying LargeTank.cfg, scalling the mass 50.0 and the name to LargeTankHEAVY!.

modify the name of the folder too, so duplicate that folder, and put in the copy folder everything from the old folder, but let the mass 50.0, more details ask me
