Would having something similar to wheel assist settings help with gimballing?

I see when I manually adjust the wheels with the wheel assist that it can gradually move the turning or instantly move the turning.

Gimballing is instant right? what would adding something like the manual wheel assist to the gimballing affect rocket control?
