my first circular orbit wohoo!!!

so guys i got my first really circurlar orbit archived today thanks to a tutorial craft i found here on this forum the apoapsis is at 204,456 while the periapsis is at 203,611 screenshots will be posted later right now im just happy

Bro-Tip, use your RCS to fine tune that last bit of distance out

Yeah, with RCS you can froward and backward "burn" (can't really call it a burn with RCS can you?) and get it very close to circular. I've gotten them really close, but can never get that last 5-10 meters or so because the physics engine bugs out so bad, the Ap and Pe start to fly around the orbit in spasms and you can never settle them down again.

Hey, congrats Starchristian! Getting a circular orbit is the second achievement. In my opinion, getting the PE and AP within 1km is "close enough for rocket science". Now, can you do it again at 100km? Can you do it with less fuel?

Less than 1 km difference is circular enough for NASA. The ISS is currently at 403km AP and 402km PE. Actually, a little lower now, as it's slowly decaying at around 2km/month and those numbers were from July 30th.
