SAS is not the same

Ahoy! I played beta a lot, and landed on every planet! I'm returning to Kerbal years later now, and have some crafts ready to launch.

When I activate SAS on my craft, I only see a single circle to the left of the central navigation circle. It is labeled "stability assist".

How can I see the old controls that I am used to, which used to show grade, normality, radial, and target?

Welcome to the forum @Jim Chamm, some probe cores are limited in their abilities (right click on the part in the VAB for what a probe core can do) and pilots require experience before they get the advanced manoeuvre options.

Thank you, James, for your reply.   In troubleshooting, I added what appears to be the most capable core, but this didn't change what I see.  I'm playing in sandbox mode. 

Perhaps what I am seeing is normal, even in sandbox?

The RC-001S and RC-L01 both have all SAS modes (as does HECS2).  The OCTO2 has every mode except Target and Maneuver.

There should be a button in the settings that says “All SAS modules on all probes”. If it is not lit up, then click it.
