Asteroid density measuring science

On a previous KSP version on a broken laptop somewhere, I had installed some science device where you had to put one device on a probe to fly one side of the asteroid, and then another on the other side and align a laser. It then measured, I think, the density of the asteroid. 

Does anyone else remember this add-on, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I can be very wrong but I think dmagic orbital science  has something like that?
