"Loaded preset default" destroys ship

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

I have a problem that´s got me stumped. I´m playing on 1.12.3 and have a whole bunch of mods installed.
I built a fairly complicated Rocket with a Lander and a Rover attached but when I try and launch into Orbit the rocket always destroys itself to varying degrees. It happens during the circularization burn when the note "loaded preset default" appears on screen. This causes a short heavy lagspike which desintegrates the rocket. I´ve tried using autostruts in different modes but the problem is persistent. Does anybody know what I could do to fix that?

After a couple of hours of troubleshooting I have found the culprit. It was Pilot Assistant not beeing able to find certain aspects of the vessel and loading the default again. Luckily MechJeb2 has almost the same functionality built in.

Edit: Problem is still persistent. This just got rid of the "loaded preset default" appearing

Was not the fix

I have kinda found a workaround. I just heavily reinforced the ship and managed to get it into Orbit even with the lagspike occuring. I hope that future designs don´t suffer from the same problem.
