How to make a launch escape system (poorly illustrated)

I think nobody really thought of making such a tutorial, but HOW DO YOU MAKE A LES?!?1

Well, here I am to show you!

So first, take  your command module. (works best with the Mk1-3). Then put a fairing  under it. Turn on the Interstage Nodes option. Then put a decoupler somewhere. Like this:

OK, now build the fairing around the capsule

Good! Now you have a simple functional LES!

(OPTIONAL)

Build a fairing around the upper stage to cover the solar panels (if you have some)

Simple, fast, easy. Thank me for the poorly made pics I made in MS Paint!

STAGING:

You have to go to Action groups > Abort and then: set decouple the decoupler under the capsule, turn on the stock LES or the sepratrons on your stock LES.

But in case of a success, make the staging so that the decoupler on the LES decouples at the same time the LES/ sepratrons fire and the fairing deploys.

Good luck and be free to ask me questions in case if it doesn't work!

Edit: I forgot to mention the heat shield! Don't forget the heat shield and the parachutes

Edit 2: The stock LES has a small amount of fuel in it, just to  barely get you away from the rocket (It also has assymetrical thrust to get you to a safer place), but the sepratrons have enough fuel to get you like 100m higher. Also make sure to check your TWR when done with the fairing. Make sure its over 2.
