Making blueprints using screenshots?

Im the type of KSP player that is really making some of the crafts for the public. But, KerbalX... I can't get the craft files as Im playing on "Enhanced" edition. So im gonna go with blueprints instead but Im not sure how to really make the screenshots WITHOUT the mods for craft viewing (pls make "enhanced" edition modable" I downloaded a template already...

Wait, so you are on console? If so, well... I don't know, maybe attach a lot of structural panels behind the ship to act as a background, launch it, zoom out, and screenshot, and then later you can edit out the structural panels if you don't like them

OK, so I'm making my first blueprint for my Meercat-I, using GIMP.  Very hard easy to use program!
