The opening music reminded me strongly of Homeworld. Actually, a lot of the video has a similar feel to much of Homeworld and Homeworld:Cataclysm's cinematics.

The video is amazing, but the missionplan is scary.. That transfer was a waste of dV.. and that lander wont come back anyway.. except they find an alien spacecraft that happen to be fully fueld.

anyway - a great video.. will surely remember that transmission when aproaching duna the next time.

Just one little nitpick, and this is something I had to reason out myself:

"Apollo crosses" were part of the assembly of the still cameras (etched into an actual glass plate); they probably shouldn't appear in video footage, only in still images where the film was recovered and developed.
