Whenever I hit the "launch" button I am reverted to the space center menu.

I cannot launch a craft from either the SPH/VAB or from the launchpad and runway. It's quite a strange issue since I am sometimes able to launch a craft but other times I can't.

Your log file has so many very fundamental Unity file I/O errors,  I get lost fast.  It's almost like your drive is failing but knowing what I've seen with KSP maybe it is just a version mismatch or boogered mod install.  Anyway, maybe someone with UnityVision™ cyborg'd into their corneas can offer you more.
