Not really, because, Ike, I think that's the name, is in a mostly geostationary orbit. So I get a Duna solar eclipse every day.

My favorite pic when I was launching my twin rovers to Duna.

The Mun and Kerbin are on the same orbital plane, so you get an eclipse every day. They occur actually quite too often, which causes problems with solar panels on the Mun. If you time your launch at the wrong time, you can spend several days with Kerbol being blocked out by Kerbin.

How rare do you think that is? I mean, I wasn't even perfectly on the plane as well, but, who is perfectly on plane? It's probably a bit too hard to be at exactly 0.000 degrees.

Hmm I say its not too rare but I would think alot of people would miss it if they were on the map or in time warp it looks really cool just shows beauty in a game where i mostly blow ships up :3

The Mun's orbital plane matches perfectly with the ecliptic. So it should happen every month somewhere on Kerbin.
