[wip] f-302

so i was just throwing engine pieces together, and suddenly i saw that even with the vanilla pieces i could make what looked like a real jet engine.

3 or 4 plane designs later, (omg i could make an F-302).

a bit of work, it it actually works surprisingly well.

my only current problems are that the center of lift is too far back and the center of mass is a little bit too far back - and the biggest one, for some reason the aerospace engines are running out of fuel before the ship is out of fuel, despite my interconnecting of all the fuel tanks on the plane. they use the fuel in the tank that's inline to the engine but ignore the central storage.

i could reproduce and modify some parts to make them slightly heavier or slightly more lift or something, but i'd like to avoid doing that.

on the up side the thust just happens to be sufficient all around, the jet engines can power it at most angles and with the booster, it can go straight up ^^.

edit:

i'm starting to hate this aerospace design, it isn't really suited for real world application. having the wings angled down like this makes the plane top heavy, and it likes to flip upside down, a lot.

and i had an apiffany and realized i had half my fuel pipes backwards >.>

and the jet engines were shutting off not because there wasn't any fuel, but because there wasn't any 'air'. (they die at like 8000m, seriously? commercial jet planes fly at almost 12000m, and this jet dies around 8000?)

so now it's just the topheavy that's the problem, and i don't see a way to fix it. i guess i'll flatten the wings out and go back to normal planes :'(
