2nd Duna capable 3 crew pod rocket [0.17 stock]

After building the Smaug 3, which I successfully landed on Duna and returned to Kerbin, I wanted to see if I could build one that wasn't a monstrously huge rocket, used less parts, easier to operate and didn't lag so much on take off. I tended to go big or go home, hence my usage of 10 LV-N Atomic Rocket Engines on my Smaug 3 design! This time I tried using only 1 LV-N Atomic Rocket Engine and dubbed it Manwë 2.

Random text? It's just because you open the .craft file with dropbox by clicking the link....right click and "save as" works anyway

Though i agree, maybe the link should be "fixed"

Nah, pastebin is fine for text, mediafire is too sluggish at times, and is better for add-ons, nice craft by the way Jeebs24

It is the actual craft file. And the "random" text is what is actually in the craft files. Anyways I "fixed" the link to use Mediafire.

Nice job! Just to confirm, this took 3 Kerbals to Duna and back again? I've been trying to do the same - I may use this, or at least look at it for inspiration.

Well, it's a nice design. I'm en route to Duna now and based on my highly unscientific calculations, I should have plenty of fuel for a return trip. How well I can land on Duna is the question though.
