Can't even build first rocket

I purchased the KSP game for PS5 but when i try to play (using controller) it starts acting weird and the cursor jumps all over or i cand properly control the rocket pieces im trying to build with. I tryvto rotate the pieces so i am building vertically instead of horizontal but the cursor will snap back to some random point and i cant get it back or when i try to open different menu/editing functions i cant.  Ibwould like to play the game but at this point its un playable.  Please help.

I think that you cant do it with the touchscreen thing. I do it with the sticks
