[1.12.x] TestFlight-Stock (TestFlight-Configs Revived) - v0.4.2 Beta

Recommended Posts

I have one mod installed called "Cryogenic Engines" those engines do not have any testflight since the mod is not supported (yet).

Is there a way to add "generic" test flight so that they at least fit somewhat?

I assume I have to copy paste a config I like and add it to those engines. I would've hoped that there's some kind of fallback instead of having no testflight at all.

EDIT: I took a peek at the config files it seems that there is a generic config but I guess this one doesn't work because the "Cryogenic Engines" aren't LiquidFuel-Engines.

The generic configs does 95% of the stuff, but an additional 5% of unique configs for each engine is required to make them work altogether.

Since I do not have the Cyro Engines configs, they simply will not work.

We now have support for Cryogenic Engines. Go and play!

Hi, thanks for the continued work on these configs.  I just started playing careers with TestFlight, and liking it.  So, from what I gather, the way this mod is done, someone has to build a TestFlight config for all/any mod parts they have, yeah?  I'm running several additional add on parts and many are not participating in the TestFlight play.  Few questions:

1. Doesn't seem the "generic" config is working?  Many of my 3rd party parts are not doing the Testflight stuff.  And they are standard liquid fuel engines.  Anyone know what I'm missing?

2.  I'm really liking the KW Rocketry parts.   Has anyone made Test Flight configs for them?  I searched, but didn't find anything.

3. Is there documentation for how I could create my own TestFlight configs for mod parts that aren't already included in this config pack?

4. Even after getting all the du points for a given engine (standard stock game engines), I'm still having a LOT of engine failures.  Do engines ever get reliable?  Also running with kerbalism - not sure if that makes any difference to this situation.

Thanks!

For whatever reason, every one of my engines are deciding to shut down one second after ignition, is there any reason this may be happening? some of the engines i've tested this with have a 94.95% reliability so its really confusing and frustrating.

Edit: Also noticed it seems to only be happening with my crewed launches, everything else works fine but my crewed launch they just fail really quickly
