disactivate the rotor brake

While making a contraption with the breaking ground dlc , i ran into a problem , i need to brake  but let some rotor turn and i can't find a way to do it , i tried to put the brake to 0 in the settings , but the rotor just stop working when brake are applied.

Did i miss something , or there is no  way to do it unmoded? ( if you know a mod to fix this it would be great tho)

Try removing the brake from the brake action group.
