Wayfarer-Dave
There are a few mods around for the original KSP, which allowed you to get data out of KSP onto an arduino, so that you can make physical gauges or data displays (such as 7-seg displays or stepper motors to control pointers etc.) and would also allow data to return to KSP from the Arduino so that you could use external controls (switches, knobs/potentiometers, rotary encoders, joysticks etc.). I build a simpit replacing the game controls in KSP, but the plugins and mods were pretty clunky. Could the developers build into the code the sending and parsing of data to an arduino board (or similar, such as an ESP32 board etc.), so we can build simpits more easily?!? I would love you forever! W-D :) Some example simpits and mods:

W-D Some example simpits and mods: Official versions of this would be awesome, it would be even better if they made an official board by partnering with Arduino and other parts for custom controllers.
