How do I create a contractor?

I want to create a contractor in ksp, but I don't know how to. Any idea? Do I need mods or something?

To create a contract in KSP you need to install the mod Contract Configurator. Then you can write contracts to carry out specific tasks for rewards. 

To learn more about writing contracts, you should read the Contract Configurator Wiki it explains all the necessary elements for creating contracts and the various things you can ask to have happen. 

A good way to learn about writing contracts is to download some contract pack mods and examine how they are put together.
