[Tutorial] Interplanetary How-to Guide [Video tutorial, in-depth]

Hello, lunar how-to-ers and stellar what-if-ers!

It seems many of you folks are still pretty baffled with the game's mechanics in a few areas, especially interplanetary travel. It's the hot buzz right now.

I've been working on some voice and video guided tutorials recently and would like everyone interested to know that today I've gone over interplanetary travel.

This is episode 3 in the series, and other episodes are available on my YouTube channel and there's a link to the playlist in my signature (Space Travel for Dummies). Let me know if they've helped you and what I need to cover so I can continue to help our new Kerbonauts.

I don't understand. Other than you burning retrograde instead of letting the atmosphere bleed off speed, it was the kind of landing you want to do.

You lost your orbit because you had Anti-Normal on MechJeb selected while your RCS was engaged. So MechJeb kept thrusting your RCS which is probably what pushed you off course. You can actually see the encounter distance shrink a few times while you are moving the camera around right before it disappears.

It was a little faster than I'm used to due to the angle I was coming in at.

Great tutorial btw. Nothing I didn't already know (besides the stage lock). Only thing I can suggest is a little more editing to make it less... hour longish?

I don't link to skimp out on information. It was a lot longer with deadzones though
