Cannot find my .craft files

I want to transfer a plane into the hangar to place on a rocket, but cannot find my .craft files to modify the line.

I've tried in %appdata%, in the ksp directory, in my documents - every conceivable location.

Even the forum and internet searches cannot help me.

If you are running KSP from a non Windows folder it should be in KSP-win\saves\yoursavename\ships\VAB\

If not, do a system search for yourcraftname.craft

Edit, I got that wrong didn't I? I need to go eat.

Ah they were in KSP-win\saves\yoursavename\ships\VAB thankyou.

The search function on my windows is somehow broken and does not work :s
