First time modding

Hi there. I’ve been trying to get extra solar systems installed. I managed to figure out that you need to take the game data contents from each mod folder and drop those into the game data folder of the game for kopernicus and Galaxy unbound. I dropped the GU folder for the Centauri system into the GU core file. Loaded up the game with various visual mods including EVE, & Scatterer. KSP Intersteller expansion is in there as well as BD armory and their respective prerequisites. When it gets past the main loading screen and then stays on the black second loading screen forever. What am I doing wrong?

The first question here would be to ask how you installed the mods.  I highly recommend CKAN; there's a ton of support for this, and dedicated threads to installing both CKAN and mods through it.  In fact...

Beyond that, I'd ask for you to post the log file please so that we can see what error(s) is/are being generated upon launch.  You can get all the information you need about where the log file is from the following thread, about 1/2 of the way down in the opening post:
