List of probable bugs, Krakkan? / Docking and Undocking / Transfer fuel between tanks?

Performance will be something I won't be able to judge for most users since my only system is a 20 core i9-10900, +2TB SSD, but I can report that 16gb memory is perfectly ok.  No graphics issue with GeForce RTX.   Suffice it to say I have no performance issues whatsoever.

Now.....onward.....My first missions worked ok.   Got to orbit, and back.

Issue 1: Upon attempting to land on Mun the first time, one of my upper stage fuel tanks was mysteriously empty.   I had enough fuel to land on the remaining stage but not to get home again with the now jettisoned stage. I immediately tried to repeat the flight.   However, now, all tanks are empty on the launch pad even though they show as full in the VAB. Restarted the game and reloaded the save. This time, it partially was ok.  On the launch pad, the fuel READ empty, but the rocket launched anyway.  Perhaps it was always this latter cosmetic issue only and I did something wrong before the game restart.

Issue 2: Rebuilt the rocket as 2 ships in one, using docking ports, and couplers.   Launch as one ship, stage, turn around, and redock (sort of like they do in the Apollo missions with the LEM).  At initial separation things were OK.  [ ] keys transisted me from one ship to the other and back.   I had a bit of difficulties with targeting.   It seems you can't just target the ship, but if you get close enough and right-click on its docking port, the first time it opens in the parts manager, you do not get a "Target" button.  Close it and right-click on the other ships docking port again, and this time you do.   At the default docking distance setting, there is an unsettling jump as you get within about 3 meters and then suddenly you are docked.   Now, docking successful but that is when the "bug" really starts.   Just after docking is complete the new ship begins spinning.   I opened the parts manager and started turning everything off.   No torque, etc on anything.   Spinning keeps getting faster.   I cycle over to the VAB, then to the tracking station and back to the ship.  Still spinning.  I hit Escape, then Save and Exit.   Restart the game.  Turn on SAS.  Spinning gradually slows and stops, problem solved, except I have to exit the game and restart every time I dock.

Edit: BTW, if you sit there and let the ships spin, they get faster and faster.  After 3 minutes or so the ship explodes.

Issue 3: Randomly, and not 100% reproducably, After docking and turning engines on/off and back on, actually trying to use the engine explodes the ship.

Issue 4: Destroy button in Tracking station does nothing.  Item remains on the menu and exists in space.

Issue 5: No apparent way to transfer fuel between tanks.

Thats it so far.

Edit: I just noticed that KSP2 only uses one of my 20 cores.   I assume this is intentional?   It maxes out that one core all the time.   Does not seem to be any issue though.

Addendum on Issue #2:  New bug effect.   After letting the ship sit idle for a while, I turned on SAS with appropriate module to use as control from here, and pressed prograde button.  Ship began spinning again.  Exit and Save, restart, use SAS stability, and the spinning slows and stops.  Press prograde, ship properly orients to prograde orientation.

Time warp to burn point of Munar orbit, let ship realign for prograde.   All ok.   Accellerate using low thrust, intending to stop the burn when the map view shows escape from Munar orbit.   At first, everything is as expected, the orbit begins to expand properly.   About 80% of escape point I notice the orbit is contracting.   Orientation of the ship is now wrong.   I stop thrust and watch and wait.   Electrical is fine, showing max.   If the ship is reorienting at all, it is doing so extremely slowly, almost impossible to detect.   Yet I can reorient manually and normal speed.    I do so manually.   Before reengaging low thrust, I press M to switch from map view to normal view.   The big bug starts at this point.   My ship is far off to the right of my view's focus point.   Scroll in and out works, but on the wrong point.   Ship is drifting from that point and continues to drift out of view.

I go back to map view, and burn slowly and escape from munar orbit.   Time warp to the Kerbin SOI.   Toggle M, but ship is still no where in sight.   I focus on kerbin in the map view.   Orient manually to retrograde and adjust periapsis to about 29.   Thats where I am now, no idea how this will pan out, but I'll try to get down and see what happens.

Ok, there was actually nothing wrong with the save.  Somehow the issue was with in memory variables.   And from the looks of it, whatever corruption happens, it is all related to _docking_ and the associated merging of two ships into one.   Restarting the game fixes the issue with the view.   And as long as you never dock again, all is right with the world.

Using the same ship and save as before, I ran through the whole thing.   I did have to UNdock, but there is no problem with that.   But I never docked.   I went all of the way from launch to landing on Mun, back to Munar orbit and then back to kerbin and splashdown with no issue whatsoever.

My conclusion is that docking corrupts the ingame memory variables.   Restarting the game after docking fixes them.

Definitely had issue 1 and 2.

1. It seems that sometimes upper stage tanks just feed into the lower stage tanks for no reason even through non cross feed parts

2. I too was doing an Apollo style mission and I had the same happen, the SAS just made the ship spin and spin for no reason.

They REALLY need to get these basic things fixed, if you build everything correctly you HAVE to be able to rely on the fact the mechanics will work consistanlty. Because otherwise what is the point in playing?

Button bottom right of the screen with the grid of dots, click that and you'll get an option to open the resource manager. Select all tanks you want to transfer fuel between and then use the in/out buttons.
