CelestialFlea
Version: 0.1.0.0.20892 OS: Win 10 System: I7800k, EVGA 1080 Issue: As the title says my camera seems to be permanently stuck inside a blank VAB. No matter if I start a new campaign, try one of the pre-made vehicles or missions or even launch a vehicle it stays inside that damn VAB. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it's still completely broken. Hell I can't even replay the tutorial missions anymore. I don't think it's too much to ask to at least be able to play a game I spent $50 on? This isn't acceptable, at all early access or not. Screenshots: Inside the VAB: Training Center: Launchpad: Workaround: User Skyphan on Reddit found this solution, big props to them. Delete your "Global" folder in .../AppData/LocalLow/InterceptGames/Kerbal Sapce Program 2/ the AppData folder will be in your /users/ username/ folder Edited February 26, 2023 by CelestialFlea

They posted an update in that post: try deleting the Global folder in C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2. I might actually suggest just renaming it to Global.old, in case something breaks and you need to get it back. And, actually, looking at the contents, you might be all right with just deleting or renaming the KSCCameraTweakables.json file, since I'd bet that's the one that holds the current position of the KSC Camera. Mikeike101
I had the same issue, and the only thing that I found that worked was deleting the app data folder for ksp2, unfortunately it completely resets your game but at least you can play again. Haustvindr
AppData folder is hidden by default. The shorter way would be entering the whole path in the explorer address bar, but it can be a little cumbersome. The easiest way is to browse (with your mouse/keyboard) to C:\Users\<you-user>, once there you can hover with your mouse the address bar and click the dropdown arrow just right the folder with your username, in the dropdown menu you should see "appdata" as an option. Sorry my bad, it won't show if you don't set your explorer to show hidden files, keep going for the manual writing method below. Spoiler Alternatively, you can click in the address bar empty space and add the subfolder "appdata" and hit enter. Spoiler Then keep browsing with your mouse/keyboard at your leisure. You should be able to find the aforementioned "LocalLow\Intercept Games\Kerbal Space Program 2" and do your things. Spoiler HTH PS: I don't really mind people knowing my user name, but whatever, I just filtered it away. If you type "%appdata%\..\LocalLow" (without quotes) into your File Explorer address bar, that will take you to the LocalLow AppData directory. In there you should see an "Intercept Games" directory and, in THAT, a "Kerbal Space Program 2" directory. That's the one everyone's talking about.
