Gimbal can sometimes swap directions while in space

Sometimes when in orbit, the direction of which a rocket gimbals swaps. For example, when touching A, instead of the rocket moving to the right it moves to the left. This can cause rockets to spiral out of control by accident, especially if you have SAS enabled.
