Where are the Kerbin Cities

So, pretty new to the game, ie ksp 1, but one thing that stands out is the lack of kerbin cities.  It seems that there should be at least a couple.  The goal, of course, would be to not land in (or otherwise destroy) the cities.    Just a suggestion to maybe make successful missions a bit more random.

Maybe a future update, like when colonies is added? Even if its just 2-3 city areas that'd be cool

Maybe that'll be 'our job' to expand over Kerbin or something

I always think back to the old Kerbin City mod, which put their main city in the harbour some way to the south on the same continent as KSC
