Hello, my name is zeldacorporation,zeldcorp or zc for short.I love ksp it allows me to do more with my fascination of space.I am also a dedicated farlander(kurtjmac fan).I am having some troubles and have a few questions.

1.Anytime I try to edit the general settings it says i dont have permission.

2.Why does a moderator have to check my posts???

3.My version of ksp crashes if i go into the tracking station to many times(if i go in and then exit and then go back in 20 mins later it crashes).not sure if its a bug so i didnt post it in that forum

1. These permissions will be given 10-30 minutes after your 5th forum post.

2. This and 1. are a crude, but highly effective means of preventing spam bots from polluting the forums.

3. I have a vague memory that this bug is known and being fixed, but I would need to find a source to verify this.

Yeah that tracking station bug is a nightmare right now, some people get it, others don't, and there's no commonality between them to help us track it down.

I am working on an idea though, in your output_log it'll show the file it gets stuck on when the game crashes, maybe finding and deleting that file will prevent this, I'm hoping I can get someone to test this soon.

1. You need 5 posts and a srcipt runs every so often to promote people from Curious George to a Bottle Rocketeer with permissions to do more.

2. It's a effective way of keeping out trolls/spammers and they won't waste their time if the posts have to be approved and it's to stop spam getting through all together.

3. HarvesteR has said that the bug is being fix and it might come in the 0.17.1 patch.

Have fun playing KSP and go blow up some rockets!

Thanks guys! you all are awsome.I honestly had no clue it was a bug XD.I am glad to know these things,and now i know the reasons i will no longer think its stupid and everything.

I forgot to mention another one that happens:

its not as frequent as the other one but,at times when i try to launch something it will crash.

Crash on launch?

That can happen a lot if KSP is on the Desktop, I recommend copying KSP to C:\Games instead and running the copy

it was in my documents.i have a shortcut on the desktop though =D, but i did put in the games folder still

My Documents is equally as bad Zelda, in fact any Windows folder is bad for KSP, if KSP is run from a folder inside Documents and Settings or Program Files it can fail to work correctly, that includes Desktop, Documents, Downloads and any other Windows subfolder.
