Orange reputation number in mission briefings

Hi! I just started the game and I need help to understand a number in the mission briefings. I have a negative orange number next to the predicted reputation gain for completing a mission or its parts (see image below).

I don't understand where this malus comes from (or if it even is a malus). I only have unpaid research program set as a strategy and by the description it shouldn't affect my rep gains right?
My rep is around 25 in light green.

Did you use the strategy in the strategy Building that gave you + science for - Reputation.

I did that and it looks the same as yours

Ways to Solve:

Go into the Strategy building and cancel that Strategy active ones are at the bottom of that buildings menu.

Oh ok so it's what I don't get because I have this active stratgey? I thought it added to the reward so in my head I was going to actually lose reputation.

It gives you more Science but at the cost of Reputation you gain from contracts.

Existing Rep will be un affected some do take current rep you have and trade that but not for science.
