The Aziz
Reported Version: v0.1.3 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Win 10 | CPU: i7 10700K | GPU: RTX2060 | RAM: 32GB The more of it is visible in the camera view, the less frames I have (it went as low as 2fps at one time), until very far when the framerate starts to come back. Both in flight and in KSC view. See video. My settings are in attachment, and what seems to cause it is Texture Quality set to High. Normally, close on Kerbin ground I have around 30fps, it's just the KSC that drops it. Any other settings look smooth there. My guess is it may be a LOD issue? When it doesn't go to lower level when it should because it's not needed at larger distance. Spicat
I can confirm, even if I have a much more acceptable drop: 60fps to 40fps https://imgur.com/f4YYrFx (video a bit blurry) Edited June 24, 2023 by Spicat
GANR1277
I have the same issue. If you teleport your ship to orbit, the FPS will tank above KSC and exactly in the opposite side of Kerbin. The fix: If you wish to flight without lagging, quicksave and quickload in launchpad before launch. Usually it works at first try. If not, repeat until you notice the framerate doesn't drop too much.
