Low Thrust Maneuver Nodes, Cause Weird Bend in Trajectories and Encounters with the Mun aren't Registering.

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045 64-bit | CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz (8) | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (3949MB) | RAM32683

 

Tried to make a normal transfer to the Mun.

Even after adding 1300km deltaV and lots of fiddling couldn't get more than a couple of close approach markers.

Additionally, as I approached 1200km prograde deltaV, the periapsis began to collide with Kerbin. Looks like the burn puts a kink in the trajectory.

Have made innumerable transfers to Mun and never experienced anything like this before. If anyone can see what I'm missing please tell me.

Its because of the long burn. To make my screenshot I reduced the poodles thrust limiter until that curve happened and the lack of encounter happened as well.

I am assuming the curve comes from following the prograde marker over a long burn. It will be pointed in the wrong direction by the time the burn finishes.
