Parts & Vessels Using Kerbal Jetpack underwater has unusual behavior.

OS: Windows 10 | CPU: Ryzen 7800X3D | GPU: RTX 4090 | RAM: Corsair Vengeance 64 GB (4x16) 6600MHz

 

Activating the jetpack while submerged significantly increases the buoyant restoring force, overpowering any water drag. You can use this to build a lot of upward momentum using the water like a trampoline each time you resubmerge.
