SDK Tools do not work

Hello Community,

KSP is a great game, and I really enjoy it.

However, I have been having a problem with the SDK. The part viewer will not work, every time I get an error:

A Load Handler for this type file does not exist yet

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Hi RASmith1030, I'm pretty sure the old part-viewer can only handle the old .DAE files KSP used to use, now KSP uses .MU files that are generated in Unity3D (you can get the free edition on the Unity site) and the KSP part-tools.

I just started using Blender for mod making, does this mean I should switch to Unity3D?

By all means, use Blender to model your parts, but transfer them to Unity to set up certain things that are needed in KSP.
