Translate ISA coördinates to Mechjeb

Recommended Posts

After mapping AND landing on all planets and moons (where possible). It's time to go anomaly hunting. I noticed the coördinates provided by ISA are different from the ones needed by Mechjeb.

Am I correct when I translate as follows (for example):

ISA:

-13.8 -16.2

=

Mechjeb:

13°8' 16°2' [E]

or

ISA:

20.3 -134.3

=

Mechjeb:

20°3' [N] 45°7'[W]

Shouldn't the second example be 134.3°W instead? Latitude only goes from -90 to +90, but longitude goes from -180 to +180 (though there were cases where I saw coordinates that were out of range, such as 400°E, which is of course impossible).

There is a button that will toggle between degrees, minutes and seconds to decimals.

It's located just below and to the right of where you input the numbers.

You can't convert 20°3' [N] to 20.3 as one degree is divided into 60 minutes and then 60 seconds.

I believe it would be more like 3/60=0.05 , so 20°3' [N] becomes 20.05 I think.

Edit:

I also get those odd 400 or 200 degrees some times and I just do 400-360= 40 and 200-360= -160.
