Orbital lines disappearing

I am attempting to return to kerbin from minimus but I cannot because of the lack of orbital lines. I had orbital lines when I was descending onto minimus but lost them probably after when I timewarped on the surface as I do not have them on liftoff. The science tab is flashing and wants me to EVA on the surface for research but I am clearly not on the surface. I have already attempted to go into the files and edit the Situation and change it to Orbiting with no success and the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seems reproducible if you set a maneuver node and quicksave then  load that save.

(Raises hand) I've had this happen several times too. I fact, I just closed my game because my Science button think I'm landed on Kerbin. I just left the SOI.
