angeldust
Hi everyone,so i brought a satellite to polar orbit around the mun and congratulated myself to my hard work. Then it started mapping and I started doing other stuff, until everything was mapped and I was happy. It found some anomalies, one at -82, 102° (approximate) and I went there. Ok, not directly it was more or less a design a craft, design a craft with a rover, launch, orbit the mun, quickload, quickload, quickload, quickload, aaah f*** that I'll use mechjeb, land, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!What is there except a big hole and no sun? I drove around but found nothing! Any Tips?
r_rolo1
There are some anomalies in the Mun that are buried ...

r_rolo1
Not all the anomalies are monoliths The Munar arches, some caves in some moons and various other stuff that I will not name are considered anomalies
AmpsterMan
Yeah, I wish some of them weren't underground. I have spent literally fifteen days looking for a certain Munolith I was able to decipher from hints and previous images of where it might be. After landing, hovering, and exploring the Northern Mountain range on Mun I finally gave up and just input some coordinates into mechjeb. What did I find?I really hope that get's fixed. That was a huge disappointment for me, and by what you say it seems as if the south pole one is glitched as well. It makes me sad

AmpsterMan
I know they used to be reachable in earlier versions of the game. Still, I can personally confirm at least one of them is completely visible above ground.[spoiler = Spoiler] The one near the equator [\spoiler] And there are quite a few around Kerbin (5 I believe [i've only found one]) and one on Minmus. Also, Nova stated before the update that their would be one outside of Kerbin's SOI, which I dobby think has been found yet; whether that was changed port not implemented I do not know. Nibb31
I haven't visited the Munoliths since 0.17 came out, but I can assure you that in 0.16 they were all reachable. Only one of the Mun Arches was underground.I wonder if Nova changed anything in the Mun's surface mesh.
