Font is too small

Recommended Posts

Maybe I'm old fashioned not playing on a 55" TV, but on my 15" screen laptop the font in many places is too small. I have good eyesight (last time it was tested at work it was "great") but numbers in particular are sometimes unreadable. Especially things like TWR and start (as in start mass) in the VAB stage info section. Maybe increase the size or try a different font? The 8-bit style can sometimes make it very difficult to distinguish between an 8, a 6 or a 0.

Same, you can rescale UI in settings but you can't rescale font. They plan to replace the font but for the moment we can't.

Ah okay, I didn't know they plan to replace it. It does seem strange to me, despite the excellent work the team have done so far, you could see more information more clearly in KSP1 than in KSP2 (in the VAB for each stage you could see DeltaV, thrust, Isp, start weight, end weight, TWR and burn time. I have made a separate topic about that. The font though, especially numbers were clear enough in KSP1 to see at a glance, which I think is an important gameplay feature when things are happening quickly. You could also see the remaining deltaV of a burn, not just the total amount. This remaining deltaV figure would change very rapidly during a burn, but I could always see it very clearly, and just by looking at the number rapidly decreasing I can end a burn within 0.5m/s in most cases.
