Parts failure mods compatible with RP-1?

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody, currently I'm playing with RP-1, it has a nice engine failure simulation implemented with Kerbalism and TestFlight, however parts other than engines don't fail at all. Default Kerbalism config for Realism Overhaul disables generic parts failure and limits it only to engines.

Are there any mods or possible config  tweaks to enable malfunctions for all parts in RP-1/RO/RSS? Has anybody tried it with mods like BARIS or EVA Repairs or OhScrap?

Best option is Kerbalism with the realism overhaul config.  Also Test Flight.  You get part failures and kerbal stress with Kerbalism and engine failures with Test Flight.

I've done dozens of launches but only engines have failed so far, as far as I understand from the RO config for Kerbalism, generic parts failures are disabled, aren't they? https://github.com/KSP-RO/ROKerbalism/blob/caf10bb5342d137418324f1dcaf5c9948517b543/GameData/KerbalismConfig/Settings.cfg#L8C2-L9C119

And they actually say it directly in the Readme: https://github.com/KSP-RO/ROKerbalism/tree/caf10bb5342d137418324f1dcaf5c9948517b543#:~:text=The Reliability feature is disabled%2C for the moment

I'm talking specifically about RealismOverhaul/RP-1 and the respective Kerbalism config
