What she's getting at is that there will be an armadillo-like creature involved at some point.

To clarify, facsimile comes from Latin, and means "make similar". In modern usage, it exclusively refers to something that is either a direct copy or very similar of something else.

Probably armadilloish.

Armadilloish can cover a pretty large range of appearances. You can get your standard Nine-Banded one, or something that looks like a giant tortoise. That's why you'll have to be specific...Partner...

I think we can agree that it will be armadilloish. Such as a shell.

Even the shells(HIDES!DARNIT) Differ between species, Observe:

Giant Armadillo: native to south America.

Perhaps it will even jump into the fenders of oncoming traffic. Just think of a rat-like creature with leathery armour-plates.

This Is the size of a Giant Armadillo compared to us. Not something you'd wanna hit. with your car.

Meanwhile, there's the nine-banded armadillo.

Isn't he cute?

Very cute.

Anyway, I thought about looking at prehistoric extinct armadillos.

... To be honest, this is our most on-topic topic we've discussed for the last 50 pages or so...

Anyway, I'm off to sleep. G'night!

Chobit's original Freya character (pre-PfL, many years ago...) had a pet Nine-Banded. Named Panzer-Rat. I was asked to put it in the story. Because Chobit asked nicely... the critter'll be there.
